Eye Contact: to Teach or not to Teach? That is not the Question

On Demand
Single-level
CEUs

Description

In this stand-alone course, Dr Francesca degli Espinosa examines one of the most debated topics in autism intervention: eye contact. Drawing on behavioural science, developmental psychology, and contemporary autism research, she explores why the question is not whether eye contact should be taught, but how social attention develops and how clinicians can ethically establish the reinforcing value of social interaction to support learning, communication, and social engagement.
